Welcome

This blog is all about restoring my grandparents 50 (or so) year old canoe, dubbed "The Bismark" by my mothers good friend Karen (for reasons that should seem clear when you notice the size of the bloody thing). It has been a bit of a ride with more bugs than bumps really. But all this effort is so worth the 'pimped' canoe that my best friend Andi and I get to take down the Murray River on July 16, 2010.
